Back at school today.
Yesterday I kept her home due to the hitting and pinching me after breakfast. We went to the dr's office to check her out, update the aggression.
The dr's office moved down the street. The same building she went to therapy before. She saw a new dr. He was probably in his late 50s, and very soft spoken.
Monica is 57 lbs. 4 ft tall. She wasn't happy to be at the dr. However, for the first time since she was a baby, she sat on my lap, and the dr checked her. Ear, nose, throat, heart, eyes. WHAT? Yeah.. she barely put up a fight.
She has had a cough for about a month, and the dr said it was post nasal drip causing that. Other than that, he will share the aggression with her primary, and if it doesn't stop in two weeks to call back.
Okay.. then.
I am not about putting her on pharmaceuticals. It's not that I don't believe in them. I am on Lexapro. As a child that had panic attacks since 1972, and then put on Lexapro 40 years later for them to disappear, I do believe in them. However, she's SIX! Let's stick to natural as long as we can.
Here she was waiting indoors for the bus this morning.
