Much better morning. I did get pinched when I told her no shorts.
I added some oils on her food this morning. I will also give her the full protocol after school.
Here is the emails between her teacher and I this morning.

Monice woke up in a good mood. She ate a good solid breakfast. She was fine until I told her it was cold outside and she had to wear pants, and not her pink shorts she picked out of her dresser. I got a angry breast squeeze and she conceded to the pants. (I did add the shorts to the backpack in case she decides to strip off her pants.
I don't think this will be a lasting behavior, I do think this is more just a major frustration of everything change. The expectations, the weather, the clothes, the waking up earlier, everything all after what she probably felt as the perfect summer.
This weekend, I will also take her to the store, and let HER pick out some pants she likes. There is a part of me that also thinks she is aging to the point of she doesn't want to be treated like a baby anymore. Like she is challenging not because she is pissed, but wants more of a choice. Almost like, Do you want to do Math or Art? Easy choice for her, if she is given one, but just like home, she wants a choice.
So tomorrow, instead of no choice on pants, I will give her the choice of Navy pants or Pink Pants and see how that works.
