I don't have the "recommended Fish oil as of yet, but she has been on the Sundown Naturals for the past year.
1 Tbsp of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/2 Tsp of Now Brand Inulin
1 pill of Sundown Fish Oil
I will swap out the fish oil with the Now Brand when it gets here, and update the list.
Monica is non verbal, six, and was diagnosed when she was 2 yrs and 10 months on the ASD. She has been in school since she was 3. Although she is only in 1st grade now, she is in her 4th year of school, bus rides, and social.
Just for a starting point, Monica is a very lovable kiddo. She loves hugs and kisses. Eye contact with others is 100%, always has been..
She is an active stimmer. She flaps, she wiggles her fingers near her eyes. She puts her hands over her ears.. not necessary when it is loud, just when she gets stimulated. She could be enjoying a youtube video, and cover her ears. Too much excitement to process. She will do it while babbling sounds and smiling and will clap too.
When she is aggressive. She can hurt herself and others. I have had bruises that have lasted months. Bite marks. She headbutts my stomach, cheek, head. She might be only six, but she is tall and very very strong.
Health wise, she rarely misses school. All her doctors feel she is extremely healthy, in perfect height, range.
She had constipation issues basically after she was taken off baby formula at 1 yr old. I would have to give her laxatives or miralax every 7-10 days to force her to poop. However, about 1 year ago, I had enough. I changed to Sundown Fish oil, and she pretty much has gone once a day. She is not potty trained, but she does go in the toilet and her pull up. We are making progress, and yet, I do not push the issue.
Since there is really no Autism studies on Inulin, or the Nemechek protocol, and I would rather type than video, my today goal will be to blog here, this journal to keep a record of her progress and setbacks.
