Day 3

1 Tbsp of Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1/2 Tsp of Now Brand Inulin

1 pill of Sundown Fish Oil

Monica went to sleep fairly easy.  Seemed to fight me a little getting ready for school, but she did that exact same behavior from time to time for the protocol.   I know the Sundown Fish Oil does not have the required DHA/EPA needed, but I am waiting for the Walmart package.  

On the porch today, I pulled chalk out and drew some letters.  She used ASL to tell me more, every time I put the chalk down. 

When she was on her bus, after being strapped in, where she normally is ignoring me and looking out the window, (for the past three years), for the first time she was watching me talk to Marcia, the wonderful bus driver.  

On day three, of course I am not expecting a breakthrough.  The brain healing is like watching grass grow.  That's another reason for this journal.  To keep me grounded.

Monica in a really good mood.  Eyes happy.  No notes on her day report, just GOOD circled.

Not sure what to say.  This girl is happy tonight.  No real change in behavior but happier than normal. Very giggly.  We had a bath last night, so no bath tonight. Just wind down now for the next 1-2 hours then bed time. 

***update 8:40 PM

Just wanted to mention, last night, day 2 and tonight day 3 she spilled her crayon HUGE box on the floor.  Both days I took her tablet and told her I would help her clean up but first clean up, then tab.  Both nights there was no meltdown.  Normally if you take the tablet away AT ALL all heck will break loose. Nothing.  Today, I think she was humming while cleaning.
